I had three life changing experiences in Lido village. I was introduced by local Victor Tekwie, a former intern to a local surf club and had my first two hour surf lesson. I met the manager of Emmawu Guest House. I checked in for two nights. My third experience, I was hosted by a local family, the Talis family for 9 days. On one special evening, we fell asleep star gazing last night, we took our 9pm snacks and coffees and sat together to admire the moon and the constellations in their glory. No cell phones. No electricity. The forced digital detox.I realise this is my life. Not a short term holiday but my life. Intentional living with purpose.
